SYNOPSIS
In the bicentennial of the Museum of the Pado, this fantastic book shows 16 of its essential paintings: From the universally known as Las Meninas painted by Velázquez or Los fusilamientos by Goya to other lesser known jewels such as El paso de la Laguna Estigia by Patinir or El Retrato de Isabel de Valois painted by one of the only three women represented on its walls: Sofonisba Anguissola. All the chosen artworks are currently exhibited in the Prado Museum. The order of appearance is chronological. On each double page there are five hidden objects to discover. At the end of the book you can see a Gallery of sizes in which the different sizes of the paintings can be seen. The solutions to the search are in the final pages are.

The books in this collection make a funny and interesting treatment of the information, on an easy tone, the give curious data about the great issues of our history. They are not just an enumeration of knowledge but, also, a game to stop and slowly turn the pages. The information is selected by the interest that may intrigue children, stories, those that are worth of remind, close to the youngest. Each page contains links to internet for further information. The double-page illustrations provide a comprehensive overview of each one of the thematic units. Each scene also raises a challenge of observation: there are six objects hidden to be found. When it seems that the books are done, both in reading and searching for hidden items, we reach the last page where we propose to seek the protagonist of each page, in their respective scene. In this last page we propose to restart the book for a more specific search so that the contents will remain in a special way and we will "know more" forever.
